My first job in ophthalmology was in 1979 at the Redding Ophthalmoloy clinic . Fluorescein Angiography was an emerging technology of only 9 years old. I enthusiastically embraced this opportunity to enhance my skill set. In 1980 I began my teaching journey by presenting for the first time at an meeting for the Ophthalmic Photographers' Society, My subsequent love of teaching and the demand for continuing education has been the genesis of her long history of providing comprehensive education in Ophthalmic Diagnostics.
I have been a lecturer for various organizations such as theJoint Commission of Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology ( JCAHPO ), The Ophthalmic Photographers' Society ( OPS ), The Association of Technical Personnel in Ophthalmology ( ATPO ) , the Association of Surgical Ophthalmic Nurses ( ASORN ), the American Academy of Ophthalmology ( AAO ), The Oregon Academy of Ophthalmology ( OAO ) and the New Orleans Academy of Ophthalmology ( NOAO )
